Candace Sacket, daughter of Erastus Sacket and Elizabeth Leonard, was born in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 5 August 1774 and baptized there in October 1774.¹ She died aged 46 in New York State^G on 29 October 1820 and was buried at Watervale Cemetery, Onondaga County, New York State^G.² She married in Pittsfield^G in February 1794, Amos Abbott, son of Jacob Abbott and Marcy ___.³ Amos was born in Amherst, Hampshire County, Massachusetts^G, on 28 April 1769.^4,5 He died aged 70 in Manlius, Onondaga County^G, on 5 August 1839 and was buried at Watervale Cemetery^G.⁴
