Sarah Sackett, daughter of Charles Ebenezer Sackett and Susannah Hamilton, was born in IllinoisG in about 1857.1
     In 1860 Sarah was living in Carlyle, Clinton County, IllinoisG, in the household of her parents Ebenezer and Susannah, and was recorded in the census as Sarah Sackett, aged three and born in Illinois.2
     In 1870 she was living in Jefferson, Maries County, MissouriG, in the household of her mother Susannah and stepfather Samuel Givens, and was recorded as Sarah Adline Givens [sic: Sackett], aged twelve.3
