Guy Robert Brill, son of William Henry Brill and Laura Ellen Sackett, was born in Harmony, Clay County, IndianaG, on 2 August 1888.1,2 He died aged 45 on 27 November 1933 and was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Cheyenne, Laramie County, WyomingG.3 He married in about 1912, Leah A ___.4 Leah was born in KansasG in about 1890.4
In 1900 Guy was living at Jackson Street, Brazil, Clay County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents William and Laura. He was wrongly recorded in the census as a daughter May Brill, aged eleven. The stated birth date, August 1888, matches Guy's birth date in other records.5
In 1910 he was living in Posey, Clay County, IndianaG, in the household of his parents William and Laura, and was recorded as Guy R Brill, a stenographer in the Government land office, aged 21.6
Guy completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was a court reporter, aged 29, and was living at Basin, Big Horn County, WyomingG, with his wife and daughter.7
In 1920 he was living at Basin, Big Horn County, WyomingG, and was recorded as Guy R Brill, stenographer/ court reporter, head of household, aged 31. Living with him were his wife Leah, 29, and their daughter Mary, aged three.8
In 1930 he was living at Jackson Street, Sidney, Cheyenne County, NebraskaG, and was recorded as Guy R Brill, a reporter in the district court, head of household, aged 41. Living with him were his wife Leah, 40, and their daughter Mary Adele, aged 13.9
