Susan Austen, daughter of Valentine Austen and Ellen Sackett, was baptized at Sutton-by-Dover, KentG, on 28 January 1609/10.1 She died after 1670. She married in Tilmanstone, KentG, on 10 November 1628, Richard Belsey, son of Thomas Belsey.2
     Susan, named as the wife of Richard Bellse, was left £20 in her father Valentine's will made in Tilmanstone, Kent, in 1633, to be paid when Richard's father Thos Bellse "shall perform the bargain that was agreed upon which was half his lands."3
     Susan would have been one of Ellen's six unnamed children each left £6 in the will of their uncle Robert Sackett made at St John in ThanetG on 16 February 1660 and proved on 25 March 1664.
     Susan, then a widow of Ockham, was left land and a tenement at St John in Thanet in the will of her brother Leonard, made at Tilmanstone, KentG, on 17 August 1670.4
