Lewis Thadius Sackett, farmer, son of James K Sackett and Elizabeth R Robinson, was born in MichiganG on 31 August 1866.1,2 He died in Coldwater, Branch County, MichiganG, on 24 December 1952.3 He married in Bronson, Branch CountyG, on 18 November 1890, Emma K Curtis, daughter of Levi H Curtis and Diantha Batterson.4 Emma was born in MichiganG in September 1872.5 She died aged 70 in BronsonG on 23 September 1942.6 There were no children of the marriage.
     In 1870 Lewis was living in Batavia, Branch County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents James and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Lewis T Sackett, aged four and born in Michigan.7
     In 1880 he was living in BataviaG in the household of his parents James and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Lewis T Sackett, at school, aged 13.8
     In 1900 he was living in BronsonG in the household of his wife's parents, Levi and Diantha Curtis, and was recorded as Lewis T Sackett, a farmer, aged 33. His wife Emma, 27, was living with him.9
     In 1910 he was living in BronsonG and was recorded as Lewis T Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 43. He owned his farm free of mortgage. Living with him was
his wife Emma, 38.10
     In 1920 he was living in BronsonG and was recorded as L Thad Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 53. He owned his home free of mortgage. His wife Emma, 47, was living with him.11
     In 1930 he was living at 5 Bridge's Road, BronsonG, and was recorded as L Thade Sackett,a farmer, head of household, aged 63. He owned his home. His wife Emma, 57, was living with him.12
