Lee Sackett, son of Philetus Sackett and Susan Anna Owens, was born in Hanover, Jackson County, MichiganG, on 3 August 1871.1 He died aged about 65 in Hillsdale County, MichiganG, in 1936.2 He married before 1900, Lucy May Havens, daughter of George A Havens and Mary ___.2,3 Lucy was born in MichiganG in about August 1879.3
     In 1930 Lee was living in Somerset, Hillsdale County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Lee Sackett, a farmer, head of household, aged 58 and born in Michigan. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Lucy, 50, and their son George, aged 15. Also in the household was Wesley Havens, a farm laborer, presumably a relation of Lucy's.4
