Avis J Sackett, daughter of Edgar William Sackett and Elizabeth Jane Taylor, was born in ConnecticutG on 10 August 1904.1,2 She died aged 79 in Windsor, ConnecticutG, on 16 May 19842,3 and was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, WindsorG.4 She married in about 1925, Roger H Stowell.1 Roger was born in ConnecticutG in about 1903.1 He died aged 81 in HartfordG on 10 May 19855 and was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, HartfordG.4
In 1920 Avis was living at Main Street, WindsorG, in the household of her parents Edgar and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Avis J Sacket, aged 15 and born in Connecticut.6
In 1930 she was living in WindsorG in the household of her husband Rodger, 26, a cashier in an oil company, and was recorded as Avis Stowell, aged 25. They rented their home.7
