John Edward Luxton, son of Harry Luxton and Matilda Priscilla Sackett, was born in West Ham, EssexG, on 6 August 1899.1,2 He died aged 74 in Newham, LondonG, in 1974.3
     In 1901 John was living at 17 Major Road, West HamG, in the household of his parents Harry and Matilda, and was recorded in the census as John Luxton, aged one and born in Stratford.4
     In 1911 John was living at 36 Pond Road, West Ham, EssexG, in the household of his mother Matilda, and was recorded in the census as John Richard [sic] Luxton, aged 12 and born in West Ham.5
