Irvin Jewel Sackett, son of Harry Boyd Sackett and Hettie Alice Purscell, was born on 9 September 1918.1 He died aged 69 in Kay County, OklahomaG, on 6 November 19871 and was buried at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Ponca City, Kay CountyG.2 He married Letty J ___. Letty was born on 25 October 1920.2 She died aged 75 on 19 April 19962 and was buried at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Ponca CityG.2
     In 1930 Irvin was living in Rose Township, Payne County, OklahomaG, in the household of his mother Hettie and stepfather John Daugherty, and was recorded in the census as Irvin J Sackett, aged 11 and born in Oklahoma.3
     Irvin served in the US Army during World War II, from 24 February 1943 to 19 August 1943.4
