Cassius A Sackett, son of Oramel E Sackett and Jane ___, was born in New York StateG in January 1836.1 He died aged about 83 in 1919 and was buried at Eastside Cemetery, Afton, Chenango County, New York StateG.3 He married first about 1857, Hannah ___.2 Hannah was born in New York StateG about 1839.1 Cassius married second before 1880, Lottie ___.1 Lottie was born in PennsylvaniaG about 1839.1 He married third about 1886, Cora A Hunt, daughter of Lucius Hunt and Clarissa Landere.1 Cora was born in New York StateG in July 1861.1 After Cassius's death, Cora married second in AftonG on 20 November 1920 Theodore E Hendrickson.4 She died aged 82 in AftonG on 12 May 19445 and was buried at Eastside Cemetery, AftonG.3
In 1850 Cassius was living in Otego, Otsego County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Oramel and Jane, and was recorded in the census as Casius Sackett, aged 14 and born in New York.6
Cassius was enumerated twice in the 1860 census. In the first record, taken on 30 June 1860, he was living with his wife and daughter in Unadillo; in the second, on 2 Aug 1860, he was with his parents in Afton, presumably on a visit.
In 1860 he was living in Unadillo, Otsego County, New York StateG, and was recorded as C A Sackett, a jeweller, aged 24. Living with him were his wife Hannah, 21, and their daughter Carrie, aged two.7

Cassius and Hannah moved to New Milford, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, by June 1863 when he registered for the Civil War draft.9
In 1870 he was living in New Milford, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, and was recorded as C A Sackett, a dentist, aged 34. Living with him were his wife Hannah, 31, and their children, Carrie, 12, Frank, 9, Ellie, 7, and Hattie, aged five.10
In 1880 he was living in Chester, Middlesex County, ConnecticutG, and was recorded as C A Sackett, a dentist, head of household, aged 44. Living with him were his second wife, Lottie, aged 40, his children, Carrie, 21, Frank, 19, Nelly, 16, and Hattie, aged 15, and Lottie's children from her first marriage.11
In 1900 he was living in AftonG and was recorded as Cassius A Sackett, a dentist, head of household. He owned his home owned free of mortgage. His third wife, Cora, 38, was living with him.12
In 1910 he was living at Spring Street, AftonG, and was recorded as Cassius A, a dentist, head of household, aged 74. His wife Cora, 48, was living with him.13
