Emma Adams, daughter of Sackett Adams and Mary Hogbin, was born in Monkton, KentG, in 1831 and baptized there on 27 March 1831.1,2 She died there aged 24 on 3 June 18553 and was buried at St Mary Magdalene Church, MonktonG, on 9 June 1855.4,5
     In 1851 Emma was living in MonktonG in the household of her parents Sackett and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Emma Adams, single, aged 20 and born in Monkton.6
