Orval Ephraim Sackett, son of Samuel Arthur Sackett and Laura Andrea Peterson, was born in Brigham City, Box Elder County, UtahG, on 15 October 1898.1 He died there aged 81 on 8 April 1980.2,1 He married in Salt Lake City, UtahG, on 16 June 1926, Vella Waddoups.1
     Orval completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 19 and was a motion picture operator. He was living at 49 South 3rd East Street, Brigham CityG.3
