Ervin Alfred Sackett, son of Samuel Arthur Sackett and Mary Peterson, was born in Brigham City, Box Elder County, UtahG, on 10 August 1900.1
In 1910 Ervin was living in Box ElderG in the household of his parents Samuel and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Ervin A Sackett, aged ten and born in Utah.2
Ervin completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 18 and was a carpenter, but with "no steady job". He was living at 613 N Acd Avenue, Provo, UtahG.3
In 1930 he was living at Iowa Avenue, Salt Lake CityG, and was recorded as Evin A Sackett, aged 30. He was living with his wife Althora, 27, in the household of his parents Samuel and Mary.4
