Richard Earl Sackett, son of Victor Franklin Sackett and Eveleen Salmon, was born in Charleston, Kanawha County, West VirginiaG, on 8 December 1919.1 He died aged 61 on 1 October 19811 and was buried at Riverview Cemetery, Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LouisianaG. He married Sarah Louise Pearson, daughter of Robert Colin Pearson and Emma Magnolia ___.1 Sarah was born in Gordo, Pickens County, AlabamaG, on 19 June 1922.2 She died aged 88 in MonroeG on 13 July 20102 and was buried at Riverview Cemetery, MonroeG, on 17 July 2010.2
