Albert Edward "Bert" Sackett, son of Frank David Sackett and Rose E Gifford, was born in Liberty, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, on 27 July 1891.1 He died aged 62 in Johnson City, Broome County, New York StateG, on 21 November 1953.2 He married in Hallstead, Susquehanna CountyG, on 21 September 1909, Mae Lillian Sweet, daughter of Lewis Sweet and Sarah Mason.3,4 Mae Lillian Sweet, daughter of Lewis Sweet and Sarah Mason, was born in Binghamton, Broome County, New York StateG, probably on 20 June 1894, the records giving various dates.3,5,6,7 She died, probably aged 55, in Johnson CityG on 25 November 1949 and was buried at Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson CityG.6,8
     In 1900 Albert was living at Great Bend Township, Susquehanna County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Frank and Rose, and was recorded in the census as Bertie Sackett, aged nine and born in Pennsylvania.9
     In 1905 he was living at Binghamton, Broome County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Frank and Rose, and was recorded as Bert E Sackett, at school, aged 13.10
     In 1910 he was living in Hallstead Borough, Susquehanna CountyG, in the household of his parents Frank and Rose, and was recorded as Bert Sackett, a grocery store clerk, aged 19 and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife May and four-month-old daughter Lillian.11
     In 1920 he was living at State Street, BinghamtonG, and was recorded as Bert Sackett, a factory laborer, head of household, aged 29. Living with him were his wife Mae, 24, and their sons, Floyd, 7, and Edward, aged four.12
     In 1930 he was living at Afton Street, BinghamtonG, and was recorded as Bert Sackett, a shoe factory worker, head of household, aged 39. Living with him were his wife Mae, 34, and their sons, Floyd, 18, and Edward, 14.13
     In 1940 he was living at Afton Street, BinghamtonG, and was recorded as Bert Sackett, a leveler in a shoe factory, head of household, aged 48. His wife Mae, 44, was living with him.14

Bert Sackett, 62, of 29 Seminary Avenue, Binghamton, died at 8:30 a. m. today at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He is survived by three sons, Floyd of Susquehanna, Pa., Edward of Worcester, N. Y., and Bert Sackett of Binghamton; his father, Frank D. Sackett; one sister, Mrs. Ethel VanDusen, both of Kirkwood; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was an Endicott Johnson Corp. employe. The body was moved to the J. F. Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main Street, Johnson City, where friends may call Sunday evening and Monday afternoon and evening.

Mrs. Mae Lillian Sackett, 54, of 10 Montour Street, died at 3 a.m. Friday at the Wilson Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Bertie Edward Sackett of Binghamton; three sons, Bert of Binghamton, Floyd of Susquehanna and Edward of Worcester, N.Y; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Mott of Hallstead, Pa; three brothers, Lewis of Tunnel, Archie and George both of Cadosia; several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the J. F. Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main Street, Johnson City, where friends may call Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening.
