Mary Emma Jane Sackett, daughter of Augustus Russell Sackett and Mary Haw, was born in Darlington, Durham County, Ontario, CanadaG, on 11 December 1852.1,2 She died aged 79 at home at 19 Elm Grove Avenue, Toronto, OntarioG, on 4 August 19333 and was buried at Park Lawn Cemetery, TorontoG, on 7 August 1933.3 She married at Fenelon Falls, Victoria County, OntarioG, on 24 September 1877, Thomas Haw, a first cousin, son of Joseph Haw and Elizabeth Stanbury.4 Thomas was born in Hope, Durham County, OntarioG, on 25 November 1852.5,6 He died aged 87 on 28 April 1940 and was buried at Park Lawn Cemetery, TorontoG.7
In 1861 Mary was living in Darlington, Durham County, CanadaG, in the household of her parents Augustus and Mary, and was recorded in the census as [illegible] Sackett, aged seven.8
In 1871 she was living in Victoria County, Ontario, CanadaG, in the household of her parents Augustus and Mary, and was recorded as Emogine [sic] Sacket, aged 17 and born in Ontario.9
In 1891 she was living in TorontoG in the household of her husband Thomas Haw, 39, a carpenter, and was recorded as Mary Haw, aged 38. Living with them were their children, Maud, 13, Arthur, 11, Mabel, 9, and Edward, aged eight.10
In 1901 she was living in TorontoG in the household of her husband Thomas Haw, 47, a teamster, and was recorded as Mary Haw, aged 46. Living with them were their daughter Maud, aged 22, and Thomas's parents, Joseph, 75, and Elizabeth, 77.11
In 1911 she was living at 4 Argyle Street, TorontoG, in the household of her husband Thomas Haw, 57, and was recorded as Mary, aged 56.12
