Jesse Joseph Sackett, son of Jacob S Sackett and Hannah Wraight, was born in Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, CaliforniaG, on 16 November 1891.2,3 He died aged 74 in San Jose, Santa Clara County, CaliforniaG, on 30 August 19664 and was buried in Los Gatos Cemetery, Los Gatos, Santa Clara CountyG, on 2 September 1966.4 He married Ethel Lucretia Bussard.4
Jesse completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was aged 25, married with two children, and was living in Tillamook, OregonG. He was employed as a farm laborer.5
In 1920 Jesse was living at Fairview Road, Fairview, Tillamook County, OregonG, and was recorded in the census as Jesse J Sackett, a dairy farmer, head of household, aged 28 and born in California. He rented his home. Living with him were hs wife Ethel, 26, and their children, E Wilma, 5, F Allen, 3, V Florence, 2, and E Margaret, aged three months.6
In 1930 he was living at Chester Street, Redwood, Santa Clara County, CaliforniaG, and was recorded as Jesse J Sackett, a laborer, head of household, aged 38. He owned hiis home. Living with him were his wife Ethel, 36, and their children, Wilma, 16, Francis, 14, Florence, 12, Margaret, 10, Jesse, 8, Velma, 7, Reta, 6, Lenora, 3, and Madeline, aged one.7
