Catherine Sackett, daughter of Rev Edward Saunders Sackett and Maria Gaskell, was born in Wainfleet, LincolnshireG, in 1845.1,2 She died aged about 39 in Selby, YorkshireG, in 1884.3 She married in Horsforth Chapel, Guiseley, YorkshireG, on 3 February 1870, Dr Charles Jack, son of Thomas Jack.4,5,3,6 Charles was born in 1843.3
     In 1851 Catherine was living at West Street, New Sleaford, LincolnshireG, in the household of her widowed mother Maria, and was recorded in the census as Catharine Sackett, aged five and born in Wainfleet.7
