James William Sackett, son of Henry Samuel Sackett and Martha Paterson, was born in Bermondsey, SurreyG, in 18381 and died aged 39 in Camberwell, SurreyG, in 1877.2 He married at St Mary's Church, Newington, SurreyG, on 30 November 1862, Elizabeth Rowlan, daughter of Nathaniel Rowlan.3,4
     In 1841 James was living at 18 Marigold Ct, St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, SurreyG, in the household of his parents Henry and Martha, and was recorded in the census as James Sackett, aged six [actually three] and born in Surrey.5
     In 1851 he was living at 3 Castle Street, St George, Camberwell, SurreyG, and was recorded as James Sackett, a scholar, aged 13 and born in Bermondsey, the son of Martha Sackett.6
