Keziah Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of John Henry Sackett and Elizabeth Catherine Meinert, was born in Deptford, KentG, in about 18371 and baptized at St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, SurreyG, on 17 April 1839.2 She married at Christ Church, Spitalfields, Stepney, MiddlesexG, on 30 November 1857, Alfred Crutcher, a cooper, son of Thomas Crutcher and Esther ___.3,4 Alfred was born in Rotherhithe, SurreyG, on 13 May 18345 and baptized at St Mary's, RotherhitheG, on 15 June 1834.5
In 1841 Keziah was living at 10 James Place, St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, SurreyG, in the household of her parents John and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sacket, aged four and born not in Surrey.6
In 1851 she was living at 14 Moreton Terrace, Rotherhithe, SurreyG, in the household of her parents John and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 13 and born in Deptford, Kent.7
