William Howard Sackett, son of Nelson George Sackett and Marie T Jackson, was born in Erie, PennsylvaniaG, on 7 July 1939.1 He died there aged 77 on 12 January 2017 and was buried at Erie County Memorial GardensG. He married Sarah Jane Hess.2
     William served in the US Marine Corps from 1957 to 1964.
