Mary Anna Sackett, usually known as Anna, daughter of Benjamin Austin Sackett and Mary Nolan, was born in MichiganG on 9 November 1861.1,2 She died aged 69 in White Cloud, Newaygo County, MichiganG, on 18 November 1930 and was buried at White Cloud Cemetery, Newaygo CountyG, on 20 November 1930.3,4
In 1870 Mary was living in Bangor, Van Buren County, MichiganG, in the household of her widowed father Benjamin, and was recorded in the census as Mary Sackett, aged nine and born in Michigan.5
In 1880 she was living in Alleyton, Newaygo County, MichiganG, in the household of her widowed father Benjamin, and was recorded as Annie Sackett, housekeeper, aged 19 and born in Michigan.6
Anna was named in her uncle Orsemus's will. She was to inherit his estate, after nineteen years, equally with her sister Eva and Orsemus's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In 1900 she was living in White Cloud, Newaygo County, MichiganG, in the household of her widowed father Benjamin, 79, and was recorded as Anna M Sackett, a school teacher, single, aged 39 and born in Michigan.7
In 1910 she was living in Goodwill, Newaygo County, MichiganG, in the household of her unmarried sister Eva, 52, and was recorded as Anna M Sackett, single, aged 48. Both were farmers and school teachers.8
In 1920 she was living at Court Street, Wilcox, Newaygo County, MichiganG, in the household of her unmarried sister Eva, 62, and was recorded as Anna M Sackett, single, aged 58. Both were school teachers.9
In 1930 she was living in WilcoxG in the household of her unmarried sister Eva, 72, and was recorded as Anna M Sackett, single, aged 68.10
