Alson C Sackett, son of Gad Sheldon Sacket and Elmina Miller, was born in Lewis County, New York StateG, on 27 August 1844.1 He died aged 82 in Colorado Springs, El Paso, ColoradoG, in June 1927 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado SpringsG.2
In 1850 Alson was living in TurinG in the household of his parents Sheldon and Elmina, and was recorded in the census as Harrison [sic] Sacket, aged six and born in New York.3
