Forrest Sackett, son of Elmer R Sackett and Lillie May Hamilton, was born in Nixa, Christian County, MissouriG, on 3 May 1909.1,2 He died aged 59 at the Burge Protestant Hospital, Springfield, Greene County, MissouriG, on 18 January 1969 and was buried at Payne Cemetery, NixaG.3,4 He married on 11 May 1929, Margaret Mae Justice, daughter of Jacob Gilbert Justice and Belle L Ball.1 They later divorced.2 Margaret was born in Iowa Point, Doniphan County, KansasG, on 22 January 1909.4 She died aged 79 in SpringfieldG on 25 November 19885 and was buried at Patterson Cemetery, SpringfieldG.4
In 1910 Forrest was living at Main Street, Porter, Christian CountyG, in the household of his parents Elmer and Lillie, and was recorded in the census as Forest Sackett, aged one and born in Missouri.6
In 1920 he was living in PorterG in the household of his parents Elmer and Lillie, and was recorded as Forest Sackett, aged ten.7
In 1930 he was living at South Douglas Street, SpringfieldG, in the household of his parents Elmer and Lillie, and was recorded as Forrest Sackett, a dishwasher in a restaurant, aged 20. His wife Margaret, 20, was living with him.8
Forrest was listed in the Springfield City Directory from 1929. He was working at the Wilshire Cheese Company by 1946 and continued there until at least 1957.9
Forrest completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 31 and was unemployed. He was living in NixaG with his wife Margaret May.10
In 1943 Forrest worked as a scrap yard laborer for the St Louis-San Francisco Railway Company in Springfield.11

Forrest Sackett, 59, of 413 South Main, died Saturday afternoon in Burge Protestant Hospital He was employed by Household Services.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Savard, 1618 North Kentwood; two sons, Donald, Billings, and Harold, Eugene, Ore; and a sister, Mrs. Thelma Sullivan, Clever; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are by Ayre-Goodwin.

Mrs. Sackett died at 8:05 a.m. Friday in Cox Medical Center South after a long illness.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home.
