Maurice William Sackett, son of William George Sackett and Amy Violet Sides, was born in Norwood, LondonG, on 1 November 1920.1,2,3 He died aged 77 in Ilfracombe, DevonG, on 3 January 19984,2 and was buried in Barnstaple, DevonG.2 He married in Jullundur, Punjab, IndiaG, on 3 November 1945, Maureen McEvoy.2 Maureen was born in Rathfriland, County Down, Northern IrelandG, on 1 September 19172 and died aged 66 in Reading, BerkshireG, on 10 May 1984.2,5

Maureen left a will which was proved in Oxford on 24 September 1984. Her last address was 10 Boundary Close, Tilehurst, ReadingG.7
