Leslie William Sackett, company executive, son of Harry Sackett and Charlotte Goozee, was born in Shoreditch, LondonG, on 23 June 1913.1,2 He died aged 49 at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, LondonG, on 1 November 1962.3,4 He married in Hendon, MiddlesexG, in 1937, Margaret L Westlake.5,6
In 1921 Leslie was living at Elmer, Pinner Road, Harrow, MiddlesexG, in the household of his parents Harry and Charlotte, and was recorded in the census as Leslie William Sackett, aged seven and born in St Leonard's, London.7
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Leslie was living at 225 Parkway, Eton, BuckinghamshireG. He was employed as an executive in a malted milk manufacturers.8
Administration of Leslie's estate was granted on 19 February 1963 to his son Robin and daughter Ann. His estate was valued at £5,145.9
