Leonard Samuel Sackett, son of Henry Samuel "Harry" Sackett and Mary Perrin, was born in Fulham, LondonG, in 1906.1 He died aged 32 in Hammersmith, LondonG, in 1938.2 He was killed when knocked down by a bus as he was about to enter West London Hospital for an x-ray examination.3 He married in FulhamG in 1929, Dorothy I Burgess.4,5 Dorothy was born on 27 January 1913.6 After Leonard's death, Dorothy married second, in FulhamG in 1942, Albert Lee.7,8
     In 1911 Leonard was living at 36 Hannell Road, FulhamG, in the household of his parents Henry and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Leonard Sackett, aged five and born in Fulham.9
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Leonard's widow Dorothy was living at 40 Lurgan Avenue, FulhamG, with her children, Dorothy and Richard.10
