Lillian Janes Sackett, daughter of John Randolph Sackett and Julia Ann Clapp, was born in Northampton, Hampshire County, MassachusettsG, on 26 March 1881.2,3 She died in Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in 1963 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery, SpringfieldG.4 She married in NorthamptonG on 24 October 1901, Sumner Arthur Harris, son of George W Harris and Jennie Davidson.5 Sumner was born in Clayburg, New York StateG, in 1880.5 He died in 19546 and was buried in the Oak Grove CemeteryG.4
     In 1900 Lillian was living at Pleasant Sreet, NorthamptonG, and was recorded in the census as Lillian J Sackett, aged 19 and born in Massachusetts. She was living with her parents John and Julia in the household of her maternal grandmother Julia Clapp.7
