Stanley Sherman Sackett Jr., son of Stanley Sherman Sackett and Marvel Ruth (Hunt) Budrow, was born in Green Bay, Brown County, WisconsinG, on 21 December 1918.1 He died aged 75 in San Bernardino County, CaliforniaG, on 22 March 1994.2,3,4 He married on 13 July 1944, Stella May Pappa Smith, daughter of Samuel Steven Smith and Beulah May Waddell.5,6 Stella was born in MinnesotaG on 7 April 1920.7 Stanley and Stella divorced before 1968. She subsequently married Albert O Larson in Santa Clara, CaliforniaG, on 12 December 1968.8 They divorced in Los Angeles, CaliforniaG, in June 1970.9 Stella died aged 68 in San Bernardino County, CaliforniaG, on 1 May 1988.10
In 1920 Stanley was living at Wellington Street, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, IowaG, in the household of his parents Stanley and Marvel, and was recorded in the census as Stanley Sackett Jr, aged twelve months and born in Wisconsin.11
In 1930 he was living at W South Street, Kalamazoo, MichiganG, in the household of his mother Marvel, and was recorded as Stanley Sackett, aged eleven.12
Stanley completed a World War II draft registration card on 16 October 1940. He was aged 21 and was living at 47 South Parkwood Boulevard, Pasadena, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG. Next of kin was his mother Marvel.1
Stanley was listed in the Pasadena, CaliforniaG, City Directory in 1940. He was living with his mother Marvel.13 In 1957 and 1959 he and Stella were listed in the Downey, California, City Directory.14
