Duane G Sackett, son of Morgan H Sackett and Mary Newton, was born in OhioG on 24 April 1854.1 He married first on 11 March 1880, Frances A Wilcox, daughter of Edson Irving Wilcox and Amanda A Smith.1 He married second in about 1899, Julia Harris.2 He married third at Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in 1904, Esther Lydia Wilcox, daughter of Edson Irving Wilcox and Amanda A Smith.
In 1860 Duane was living in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Morgan and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Duane Sackett, aged six and born in Ohio.3
In 1910 he was living at Center Street, Pomfret, Chautauqua CountyG, and was recorded as Duane G Sackett, an insurance agent, head of household, aged 56 and born in Ohio. He owned his house free of mortgage. Living with him were his third wife Esther, 48 (who was sister to his first wife Frances), his daughter Florence, 27, son-in-law Henry Weiler, 29, and son Walter, 24. Also in the household were Lydia Smith, 75, presumably a relation of Esther's, and a female house servant.4
