Harriet A Sackett, daughter of William Henry Sackett and Pluma Woodford, was born in New York StateG on 30 January 1832.1,2 She died aged 81 in Caroline, Tompkins County, New York StateG, on 3 April 1913 and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, Tioga County, New York StateG.1,3,4
     In 1850 Harriet was living in CandorG in the household of her parents William and Pluma, and was recorded in the census as Harriet A Sacket, aged 18 and born in New York.5
     In 1860 she was living in Albany, New York StateG, in the household of her parents William and Pluma, and was recorded as Harriet A Sackett, aged 27.6
     In 1870 she was living in Elizabeth, Union County, New JerseyG, in the household of William Sacket (probably an enumeration error for her brother Nathaniel), and was recorded as Harriet A Sacket, aged 38.7
     In 1880 she was living at Grove Street, ElizabethG, in the household of her stepmother Mary and Mary's third husband John Bieron, and was recorded as Harriet A Sacket, aged 48. Also in the household were her brother Nathaniel, 45, with his wife Jane, 35, and Harriet and Nathaniel's half-sisters, Florence, 12, and Sarah, 10.8
     In 1895 Harriet was living in Newark, Essex County, New JerseyG, with her stepmother Rose and half-sisters, Florence and Lulu [Sarah Eloise].9
     In 1910 she was living in CarolineG in the household of her cousin Alotus Stevens, a farmer, and was recorded as Harriet A Sackett, aged 78, single.10
