William Henry Sackett, son of Nathaniel Sackett and Sarah Warren, was born in Oswego, New York StateG, on 29 September 1802.1,2,3 He died aged 75 in Elizabeth, Union County, New JerseyG, on 30 May 18781,4 and was buried at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, Albany County, New York StateG.2 He married first on 1 November 1827, Pluma Woodford.1 He married second on 18 April 1867, Mary Jane Payne Clark.1
     William was listed in the census in 1830 and 1840 as a householder in Candor, Tioga CountyG.5,6
