Lydia Sophia Sacket, daughter of Lemuel H Sackett and Lydia Chapman, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 6 December 1852.1 She died of typhoid fever aged 20 in Boston, Suffolk County, MassachusettsG, in August 1873.2
     In 1855 Lydia was living in WestfieldG in the household of her parents Lemuel and Lydia, and was recorded in the census as Lydia S Sacket, aged two and born in Massachusetts.3
     In 1870 she was living in WestfieldG in the household of her stepfather Hiram and mother Lydia, and was recorded as Sophiah Sackett, at home, aged 17.4
