Nancy Sackett, daughter of Moses Sacket and Maria Doane, was born on 28 June 1838.1 She died aged 73 on 25 February 19121 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG.1 She married as his second wife, at WestfieldG on 2 June 1862, William S Thorp, a miller, son of Alden Thorp and Patience Chatman.2 William was born on 3 October 1834.1 He died aged 73 on 7 March 19081 and was buried at Pine Hill CemeteryG.1
     In 1850 Nancy was living in WestfieldG in the household of her parents Moses and Maria, and was recorded in the census as Nancy Sacket, aged 12 and born in Massachusetts.3
     In 1860 she was living in WestfieldG in the household of her parents Moses and Maria, and was recorded as Nancy Sacket, aged 21 and born in Massachusetts.4
