Alice Jane Sackett, daughter of Henry Sackett and Jane Tansley, was born in Poplar, MiddlesexG, in 18881 and baptized at All Hallows, PoplarG, on 1 February 1888.2 She married at St Luke's Church, Victoria Docks, West Ham, EssexG, on 14 March 1909, John Page, son of John Page.3,4 John (the younger) was born in about 1883.5
     In 1891 Alice was living at 47 Aberfeedy Street, St Leonards, Bromley, LondonG, in the household of her parents Henry and Jane, and was recorded in the census as Alice Jane Sackett, a scholar, aged three and born in Poplar.6
     In 1901 she was living at 12 Philip Street, West Ham, EssexG, in the household of her parents Henry and Jenny, and was recorded as Alice Sackett, a nurse maid, aged 13 and born in Poplar.7
