Jessie Alice Sackett, daughter of John William Sackett and Jessie Parker, was born in Fulham, LondonG, on 9 November 18921,2 and baptized at St Andrew's Church, West Kensington, LondonG, on 29 March 1893.3 She married in FulhamG on 23 December 1911, John Harding.4,5,6 John was killed in action in France on 2 December 1917 while serving as a gunner in the Royal Field Artillery.7,2
     In 1901 Jessie was living at 20 Werley Avenue, St Peter's, Fulham, LondonG, in the household of her parents John and Jessie, and was recorded in the census as Jessie Sackett, aged nine and born in Fulham.8
     In 1911 she was living at 50 Orbain Road, FulhamG, in the household of her parents John and Jessie, and was recorded as Alice Sackett, a laundress, aged 18.9
