[This record would appear to contain a number of enumeration and/or transcription errors. Eliza Pollard would have been married, not single, and was Julius's stepdaughter, not daughter. The surnames of Minnie and Elmina would have been Scripture, not Pollard, and were Julius's stepdaughters, not daughters. The birthplace (stated to be Prussia) of the father of Eliza, Minnie, and Elmina would appear to be that of their stepfather Julius, not that of their natural father Lawrence Scripture. The surnames of Martin, Emma, and Clara would have been Bottcher, not Pollard. The entry for George Pollard should read: b. Minneapolis, father b. NY, mother b. Minneapolis.].
