Jessie Maud Sackett, daughter of George Thomas Sackett and Margaret Still, was born in Hougham, Dover, KentG, in 1868.2,3 She died aged 49 at 15 Military Hill, DoverG, on 1 March 19184 and was buried at St James' Cemetery, DoverG, on 5 March 1918.5 She was unmarried.
     In 1871 Jessie was living at Military Road, Dover, KentG, in the household of her parents George and Margaret, and was recorded in the census as Jessie M Sackett, aged two and born in Dover.1
     In 1881 she was living at Military Road, Hougham, KentG, in the household of her parents George and Margaret, and was recorded as Jessie Sackett, a scholar, aged 12 and born in Dover.6
     In 1891 she was living at 15 Military Road, DoverG, in the household of her parents George and Margaret, and was recorded as Jessie M Sackett, a dressmaker, single, aged 23? and born in Dover.7
     In 1901 she was living at 15 Military Road, DoverG, in the household of her parents George and Margaret, and was recorded as Jessie M Sackett, a dressmaker, single, aged 32 and born in Hougham, Kent.8
     In 1911 she was living at 15 Military Road, DoverG, in the household of her widowed mother Margaret, and was recorded as Jessie Sackett, a dressmaker, single, aged 42.9

    "Funeral of Miss J. Sackett
    The funeral took place on Tuesday at St. James' Cemetery, of Miss Jessie Maud Sackett, who died at 15, Military Hill on March 1st, at the age of 49 years. The Rev. T.B. Watkins officiated. The mourners present were Mr. Sackett brother and Mrs. Dunn. There were no flowers by request. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. B.J. Andrews of Langfield Rd."
