John Norman Sackett, son of Edward Curtis Sackett and Mary Ann Morgan, was born on 18 February 1857.1 He married Susan Martha Dillon.2 Susan was born on 5 August 1861.2
In 1860 John was living at Mount Auburn, Christian County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents Edward and Mary, and was recorded in the census as John N Sacket, aged three and born in Illinois.3
In 1870 he was living in Woodville, Greene County, IllinoisG, in the household of his father Edward and stepmother Mary, and was recorded as Norman Sackett, aged 13 and born in Illinois.4
In 1910 he was living in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New MexicoG, and was recorded as John N Sackett, a wagon driver in a meat market, head of household, aged 53, and born in Illinois. He owned his own home. Living with him were his wife Martha, 47, and children, Ira, 23, Elsie, 19, and Byron, aged eleven.5
