Cora Frances Sackett, daughter of Francis M Sackett and Ruth Sophia Sayer, was born in IowaG in March 1873.1,2 She died aged about 83 in 19563 and was buried at the Brethren Cemetery, Panora, Guthrie County, IowaG.3
     In 1880 Cora was living at Harrison, Adair County, IowaG, and was recorded in the census as F C Sackett, aged seven and born in Iowa, daughter of Francis and Ruth.5 She married in Adair County, IowaG, on 5 February 1888, Mark R Hodson, son of Josiah Hodson and Lydia Jane Hiatt.4 Mark was born in IndianaG on 8 May 1861.1,6,7 He died aged 50 in Adel, Dallas County, IowaG, on 10 November 1911.
     In 1900 she was living in Judkins Township, Woodward County, OklahomaG, in the household of her husband Mark Hodson, 39, a farmer, and was recorded as Cora Hodson, aged 27 and born in Iowa. Living with them were their children, Hester, 11, Blanche, 10, Zola, 9, Ray, 7, Eva, 6, Clyde, and Josiah, aged two. They owned their home free of mortgage.2
     In 1910 she was living in Cass, Guthrie County, IowaG, in the household of her husband Mark, 48, and was recorded as Cora Hodson, aged 38. Living with them were their children, Clyde, 14, Josiah, 12, Glenn, 10, Willie, 7, Chas, 5, Donald, 4, Lizzie, 2, and Jennie, aged seven months. Mark's widowed mother Lydia, 72, was also living with them. They rented their home.8
