Alfred William Sackett, son of Henry "Harry" Sackett and Louisa Elizabeth Mathison, was born in Romford, EssexG, on 4 April 1911.1,2 He died aged 51 at the London Hospital Annexe, Brentwood, EssexG, on 2 June 1963.3,4 He married in West Ham, EssexG, in 1942, Annie Kezia Stone, daughter of Alexander Stone and Susannah ___.5,6 Annie was born in Canning Town, LondonG, on 26 September 19067,2 and died aged 60 in Waltham Forest, LondonG, in 1967.8
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Alfred was living at Northumberland Villa, Philip Road, Hornchurch, EssexG, with his parents Henry and Louisa. He was a store keeper.9 Annie was living at 58 Monega Road, East Ham, EssexG, with her father Alexander and sister Ivy.10
     Administration of Alfred's estate was granted on 14 August 1963 to his widow Annie. His estate was valued at £3,306.11
