Orange Sackett, son of Homer Skiff Sackett and Charrie E Strong, was born in ConnecticutG on 30 November 1878.1,2 He died aged 57 in Grand Rapids, Kent County, MichiganG, on 31 May 1936 and was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Grand RapidsG.3 He married Lulu V Johnson.1
     In 1880 Orange was living in Kent (later Warren), Litchfield CountyG, in the household of his parents Homer and Charrie, and was recorded in the census as Orange Sackett, aged one and born in Connecticut.4
