Charlotte M "Lottie" Austin, daughter of Enos Austin and Sarah Parthena Sackett, was born in Newton Falls, Trumbull County, OhioG, on 15 September 1854.1,2 She married Clark Augustine Sackett, her first cousin once removed, son of Clark Sackett and Laura Melissa Aiken.
     In 1900 she was living at TallmadgeG in the household of her husband Clark, 63, a farmer, and was recorded as Lottie Sackett, aged 45.3
Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Clark A. Sackett taught for a number of years, first in the public schools of Youngstown and later in the Blind Asylum, at Columbus. She is an accomplished lady. Both she and her sister were teachers, the latter for a period of twenty-five years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sackett belong to the Congregational Church at Tallmadge, in which Mrs. Sackett is the organist.
