Ann Sackett, daughter of Samuel W Sackett and Anna Hammond, was born in New York StateG on 9 April 1812.1,2 She married in about 1828, Elias Case.1,3 Elias was born in New York StateG in about 1807.2
     In 1850 Ann was living in Milan, Dutchess County, New York StateG, in the household of her husband Elias Case, 43, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Ann Case, aged 42 and born in New York. Living with them were their children, Elijah, 18, Amy, 16, Henry, 10, Marietta, 8, Ann Verna, 3, and Elias, aged two. There was also a male laborer in the household.4
