Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Thomas Sackett and Mary Ansell, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, on 13 May 18181 and baptized at the Ebenezer Independent Chapel, RamsgateG, on 30 July 1818.1 She died aged 82 and was buried at Ebenezer Independent Chapel, RamsgateG, on 4 March 1901.2 She was unmarried.
     In 1841 Elizabeth was living at Hereson, St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, in the household of her parents Thomas and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 20 [rounded down to nearest five years] and born in Kent.3
     In 1851 she was living at Hereson, St Lawrence in ThanetG, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, aged 32 and born in St Lawrence, Kent, daughter of Thomas Sackett.4
     Elizabeth was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in Hereson, St Lawrence in ThanetG, on 14 June 1844.5
     In 1861 she was living at HeresonG and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, a shopkeeper, aged 42, and born in St Lawrence, unmarried daughter of Mary Sackett.6
     In 1871 she was living at Sackett Cottages, Hereson, St Lawrence in ThanetG, in the household of her 92-year-old mother Mary Sackett, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, a sweetshop keeper, unmarried, aged 62 [actually 52], and born in St Lawrence.7
     Elizabeth was appointed administrator of the estate of Mary Ansell by letters of administration granted at the an unknown place on 19 October 1872.8
     In 1881 she was living at 1 Sacketts Cottages, St Lawrence in ThanetG, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, a shopkeeper, head of household, a widow [an error; Elizabeth was unmarried], aged 62 and born in St Lawrence, Kent. Living with her were her sister Sarah A. Ratcliff, aged 75, and her unmarried niece Sarah Ratcliff, aged 49.9
     In 1891 she was living at 1 Freemans Cottages, Hereson Road, RamsgateG, and was recorded as Elizabeth Sackett, a general shopkeeper, head of household, unmarried, aged 72, and born in St Lawrence.10
