John Noah Sackett, son of Martin Sackett and Eliza Hale, was born in MassachusettsG on 10 November 1839.1 He married on 1 July 1867, Francelia L Sackett, a fifth cousin, daughter of Daniel Sackett and Celestine Loomis.2,1
     In 1870 John was living in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded in the census as John Sackett, works at organs, aged 30, and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Fane, aged 24, and born in Massachusetts, and their daughter Edith, aged two.3
