Daniel Sackett, son of Daniel Sacket and Tryphena Loomis, was born in MassachusettsG in about 1820.1 He married in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 28 November 1844, Celestine Loomis, daughter of Roland Loomis and Clarissa Holcomb.2,1,3 Celestine was born in 1824.1
     In 1870 Daniel was living at Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded in the census as Daniel Sackett, a farmer, aged 49, and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Celestine, aged 46, and born in Massachusetts, daughter Eva (15), and father-in-law Roland Loomis (81.)4
