Flora Jane Sackett, daughter of Myron Sackett and Orpha Dean, was born in Canfield, Mahoning County, OhioG, on 29 November 1836.1,2 She died aged 41 in Davenport, Scott County, IowaG, on 6 June 1878.1,2 She married on 19 September 1857, Charles Reed Turner, son of James Turner and Rachel Reed, and widower of her sister Harriet.1,2
     In 1850 Flora was living in CanfieldG in the household of her widowed mother Orpha, and was recorded in the census as Flora Sackett, aged 13 and born in Ohio.3

3776. Flora Jane Sackett, 1836–1878, daughter of (1502) Myron and Orpha Dean Sackett, was married, Sept. 19, 1857, to Charles Reed Turner, 1824–1874, son of James Turner and his wife Rachel Reed.
