Horace David Sackett, son of Hon Leverett Sackett and Mary Culver, was born in 1843.1 He married at Hartford, ConnecticutG, on 15 January 1873, Ellen M Lyman.1 Ellen died aged 80 in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, CaliforniaG, on 21 June 1929.2
     In 1850 Horace was living at Blandford, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in the household of his parents Leverett and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Harris C Sackett, aged six and born in Massachusetts.3
