George Augustus Sackett, son of George Sacket and Eliza A Peake, was born in 1833.1 He died in Downsville, Delaware County, New York StateG, on 22 November 1895.2 He married first Huldah Ann Raymond.1 He married second on 2 November 1873, Sarah Wilson More, daughter of Hiram More and Abigail Squire.1
     In 1850 George was living at Colchester, Delaware County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents George and Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Augustus Sackett, a laborer, aged 17 and born in New York.3
